Journal’s Vision & Audience

Our journal seeks to share ideas and practices in the area of mathematics education with our membership that at current is nearing 2,500 individuals.  Members include: practicing, pre-service, and retired teachers; administrators; higher education faculty; and a variety of other individuals with an interest in teaching and learning mathematics.

Appropriate Submissions

Elementary through college level instructors and school leaders are encouraged to submit manuscripts for inclusion in the journal. A variety of formats are welcomed including research-based studies, expository essays, book reviews, articles about teaching practices, and ideas for instruction. The focus of the manuscript should be on how one’s work exemplifies best practices in the teaching and learning of mathematics as it relates to state and NCTM standards.
